Cheap reliable automatic for 2-3k

Looking for a cheap £3k-ish car to tide me over between two leases for 6-12 months which I can sell afterwards easily. Used to an electric car so ideally would be automatic and reasonably nippy with long MOT and service. I only really use it for a 10 mile commute each day, so not too bothered about efficiency etc.

With you're low mileage I'd say go for a petrol so in the case of the CLK a 200 makes sense:
