Roof panel re-trim

Just had the roof centre panel re-covered. I thought that at the same time I'd have the inner surface lined to match the leather-work and lighten up the cockpit. Perhaps this is something that is regularly done? Dunno. Anyway, it was a choice between hide (£150 for a whole skin - Jeez! just how big do cows get?!), 100% wool (£45) or vinyl (£12). The three materials were available from the same supplier and so were a perfect match for each other. I opted for the vinyl as not only am I ' One Tight Fu**er' but, that was the recommendation....phew! It'll afford some durability against the junk that resides in my boot when I get lazy again and don't bag-up the panel.

I'm quite pleased with the results, there's no smell of rubber and it's a great match for colour and texture. Total cost was £249 and done right down 'ere in Penzance.....me lover. :thumbup:[pic]http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/3Munkys/2005-08-13015.jpg[/pic]
