Hi, I am new here. Just wonder about the BMW warranty on approved used cars.
If the car is only one year old, its remaining factory warranty is still 2 years.
If we buy this car as approved used from a main dealer, it should come with 12 month warranty. Is the remaining 2-year factory warranty transferable to us to a final 3 year? Or just the 12 month?
The BMW website says "minimum" 12 month warranty on approved used confuses me. Is it just due to different models?
Thanks.

If you buy a car that's 12 months old you get the remaining 2 years manufacturers warranty.
If the cars 2.5, years old you get 6 months manufacturers followed by 6 months AUC warranty, so a minimum of 12 months.

Thanks. So if the car is 2 years old, then we get in total 12 month warranty, right?

The BMW new car warranty is for 3 years from date of first registration and is transferable if ownership changes in that time

The car MUST have been serviced in accordance with BMWs service schedule

So if the car is two years old yes there is a year remaining IF it has been serviced correctly
