Hi all once again.
I purchased a Leon 1.8Tsi manual a few months ago and I’ve already got itchy feet.

I’m starting a new job in November which will mean more rush hour traffic travel.
My commute is 44 miles round trip mostly motorway and dual carriageway.

My budget is 14k.
Needs to be 4/5 door.
Im starting to edge away from “sporty”. Whilst the Leon seats are better than the ‘05 Polo they’re still a bit hard.
I’d still like something that will shift.
Body style doesn’t matter too much just not a fan of SUVs.
Ideally no less than 40mpg.
Diesel isn’t out of the question I just don’t know if 12k per annum would justify an oil burner. Despite the odd trip to the Cotswolds most of my journeys are within 50 miles each way.

Thanks in advance

A diesel will be fine for your usage, I'd say test drive a few (a car supermarket is a good call) cars.
