Anoyne have any decent pictures of the Orange Carrera S at the recent Goodwood festival.

Also anyone know what exact colour that is (I know it's a special)? Was it a Porsche Cars GB vehicle or a dealers?

I've seen the excellent pictures on Sleepy Fish and wondering if anyone knows where there are others?

I've got some pictures of it. They are not what I'd describe as excellent or exciting, but they are in focus Seriously, I got some shots of it sat in the Sunday Times arena looking lovely. I'm not planning on doing anything with them, so you are more than welcome to copies. Email me, if you wish, through my profile.

Its a Porsche Cars GB vehicle I believe - apparently one of their Porsche Driving Experience cars - used to demonstrate exactly this type of thing.

Its an old 70's colour, 'Pure Orange' painted to order by the factory as an exclusive option. The interior is grey, with the centre console in body colour too. Looks fab.

It looks like the early '70's L20/E Signal orange to me not as dark as blood orange.

I remember reading something recently where the colour was only described as orange, but such special order finishes are taking 8 months to order, whether that is in addition to existing 997 delivery times was unclear.

Thanks for the info everyone.

I have a build slot for my Carerra 4 S in October - I hope that chosing this colour won't cuase any significant delay? We'll see.

Info I have heard is that Exclusive colours, i.e. ones previously used by Porsche in years past, are an extra 2-3 mths. Colour to sample can add much longer.

Is it possibly Zanzibar?

Superb colour, but I'm biased

Car is NOT Zanzibar

But it IS currently at reading in the back lot, so probably verifies it as a PCarsGB mototr.

Official name is "PURE ORANGE" and it adds a four month delay to your build! I Know!

I like it, but I suspect it would suit a 997 GT3 better, or perhaps an aero-kitted 997.

Jonny - bingo - until 997GT3 arrives I've ordered a Carrera 4S - This colour, black leather, with the Aerokit, sports exhaust, -20mm susp, sports seats, black painted wheels, sport chrono etc.

Ah, good one. I see you are in the North East? So am I. Perhaps when you get it we can go for a blast in the country?
