From X3M to M3 Touring?
Discussion
Whatever you do you will have decent equity in your car. Probably worth 47k right now on WBAC, more probably with Motorway.
Assume your on 2.9% apr or lower.
New m3 touring going to be 4.9% or higher plus near 90k cost.
Monthlies north of £1k
Love my X3M. Just done 400 miles last two days working up in the highlands. Great on the back roads and cruising on the A9. Great all rounder. will be difficult to replace. Ride not to firm on Pilot sport 4S.
Do you need an estate?

Apart from the layout inside, they're very different cars. Do you want/need an estate car? If not, you've got loads of options based on the figures you mention...
Or maybe the question should be, do you really want an M3?
Interested to hear that they are very different cars. Same engine. Same drivetrain. Same performance. Same basic configuration except one has a slightly higher ride height. Similar space inside (slightly less in M3 T). Or am I missing something? Or maybe the question should be, do you really want an M3?
I mean apart from a few interior tweaks its pretty much the same car under the skin maybe apart from staggered wheels.
for the amount of money they want and lack of dealer contributions i would stick with the X3M. You can also refinance with BMW for another year and your monthly payment would be reduced. I did it on my previous F31 was paying £400 a month and with the refinance it dropped to £260.
