Been looking at a couple of 58 plate 1.6 diesel KIAs with very low mileage(were talking 50 to 60K)are these likely to be any good and do they run a DPF or adblu.

Most diesels that are euro 6 onwards use adblu. A 58 plate Kia is too old. Most won't be fitted with a dpf either..

Up to 2009 Ceeds, indeed you might find the odd 2010 lurking about without a DPF.
No dual mass flywheel either on many.

You'll need to do some research to find exactly which models benefit from not having these things.

I was more concerned with whether or not the engines themselves are any good the lack of DPF and dual mass would be a bonus and yes they are both ceed's.

Was well impressed with my 2008 Ceed 1.6D
Bought at 2 Years old. Had it for 6-7 Years/130K and sold to a colleague.

It started dumping oil into the coolant recently with about 230K on the clock.
His trusted mechanic decided not economical to fix.

Very little went wrong with it.
