After what seems an eternity whilst the (now previous) owner was on holiday I have my griff! '96, Blue (starmist I think) tan leather interior...EXACTLY the combination I was after. Woohoo! (Was buying on condition as well...not colour, so thats was a bonus!) I have some pics on the way to me...i'll post them up when I get them.

Oh, and please excuse any dumb questions that I may come out with over the next few weeks. ;)

Congratulations on joining the Cheshire Grin brigade.
Just in time to meet lots of other grinning enthusiasts at the Growl.
Unfortunately it looks as tho i'll be slumming it in a Carrera 4 at the Growl, due to some numpty driving into my Griff - very nice of Help Hire to give me the chance of road testing a porker, but it aint a Griff, just doesnt give you that "grin" factor.

Nice one Rod.

The problem is now trying to stop inventing places you need to go, so you can just drive it.

I've only had mine a week and the grin hasn't stopped

I know what you mean, instead of just going to the kitchen for breakfast...I ended up at a cafe in Wales!

Had mine a week and a half and yes, still grinning.

They say good thigs come to those who wait, and I'd waited 16 years to get a car that put a smile on my face, so hope yours gives you as much pleasure as mine has so far...it is even seems fairly waterproof!

Good luck.

Virgil.
