Any recommendations on CH engineer/company that can upgrade CH controls, thermostats etc in Edinburgh?

Had two companies round and never came back as they didn’t seem interested.

TIA

Not sure if they can help you but i used Contract Heating for annual service and they were reliable and reasonable.

I can vouch for Contract Heating. They replaced my boiler and thermostat a couple of years ago. Seviced it ever since.
Always turn up when they say they will and you can track your engineer on the day of your job.

Unfortunately they said they don’t do that sort of work - think it was too small a job.

Have tried Heatmiser before, but might go down the Hive route this time.

Hive is one of the worse "smart" thermostats in terms of energy efficiency - it's only a Class 1. All the different systems have pros & cons so draw up your want/wish list & compare them. Imo Drayton Wiser covers most of the tick lists - for me it is only really let down by it's plain design (but I can see why that could appeal to some people).

When I used to rent CHAPS came round to sort out some small leaks like when my shower broke down so could be interested in your sort of size of job OP
