From someone who can climb immediately out of his own very familiar 430 Scuderia, he's given the Superleggera a very fair and positive review. In conclusion, he "enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I might".

its a good vid,

i had a 430 scuderia, sold just shortly before I bought the PreLP SL, scuderia was outstanding on a fast A road, hellish on a long drive as sound insulation was nil, soft button for suspension was good,

for the money the SL is a bargain compared to the Scud, rarer also I think,

scott.

I actually always thought it is quite good for long trips with exhaust flaps closed and soft suspension. What I found most annoying is during night that the shift lights stay on in 6th gear, constant red light in your eyes when trying to focus on the road ahead

JayEmm raises an interesting point about the respective numbers of both cars, generally about 10 – 12 Scuderias for sale compared to about 3-4 Superleggeras. Some of the latter he says could be the Gen 1 editions.

Both are now the sort of age where they are probably not used as a daily car so I haven’t seen any apart from at supercar or Italian car events, whereas I do occasionally see more current Ferraris, Lambos and McLarens out and about, not on the way to a car show.

Today there are 14 Scuderias including 1 LHD car advertised on Pistonheads. Plus another 2 red and 4 black different ones on Autotrader = 20.

That compares to 4 LP 570-4 Superleggeras, 3 yellow and 1 black on Pistonheads. The yellow ones are different cars:
2012, 3,500 miles;
2013, 15,800 miles (deposit taken);
2013, 30,000 miles;
Autotrader also has a matt black Superleggera Edizione Tecnica. Though that’s a long standing advert. Total = 5.

So, as per JayEmm’s comment, there are currently quite a few less Superleggera LP570s to choose from.

Looking at howmany left in 2022 Q1 there were 45 licensed and 65 SORN = 110 Scuderias.

For the same 2022 Q1 period there were 8 licensed and 5 SORN = 13 Superleggeras.
The first Superleggeras were registered from 2010 Q3, so these are Gen 2 LP570 cars, not Gen 1s.

That does seem to confirm that the Superleggera LP570 is considerably rarer, though surely there are more than about 13. Even if it's double that figure, that's still a small number.

The range of Superleggera advertised prices in 2022 has also increased, with a deposit taken on one of the yellow cars, which was advertised nearer the upper end of the range.
