Has anyone here used flagstone that can comment on it? I’ve got some cash which is earmarked for mortgage overpayments however with saving rates rising in considering locking it up in fixes instead.

I’d want to do it over a period of months so would have several batches on the go so I thought a platform like Flagstone might be a useful aggregator.

I think it’s accessible through ii based on their website - otherwise minimum amounts may apply which might make it less appealing!

Or do I just deal with the admin and open the accounts myself directly?

I've recently started using it and so far so good.

Opening the account was straightforward, then transfer money to your holding account, then chose a savings product and move whatever you want into that. Seems a lot easier than opening multiple different accounts, but the flip side is that it has a restricted set of products available.

So far, they have either been top rates, or very close so not a problem.

I've not yet tried taking any money back out though....

I had a quick look at the sight and with a bit of ground work can do better! If switching involves a few minutes of my time then so be it, I don’t need to pay anyone to do this for me!
