Just noticed that Southland is streaming on Freevee (formerly IMDB TV).

It was on a terrestrial UK channel years ago, but I think only for a couple of the five series. I remember it as being pretty good.

I remember watching this when it was aired originally, probably one of the best Cop shows around, was there only 2 series shown back then?

The later series struggled to make it to broadcast in the UK I think; I have all 5 seasons on DVD and re-watch the whole thing every few years. Definitely one of my favourite shows of all time; I loved how real it all felt. It gets pretty f'ing dark towards the end of the show and the final episode is a gut-punch, but it's fantastic throughout.
