Speedo

I've had a few problems with the Speedo in my 4.0 1999 TVR Chim. A new one has just arrived from Caerbont, but my mechanic mentioned the it would be worth also changing the sensor; he suggested I buy it and he will fit it. I know that the sensors changed (maybe in 94) could anyone tell me which one I'm looking for or somewhere to purchase it.
