What a bloody disappointment, I packed up working on the car at 23.00 cos I'm tired and well p_ssed off. I've had the car on stands for three weeks sorting out the rear frame and shocks plus other bits while the wheels have been away for refurb. Got the wheels back on Thursday and they are a bloody mess (used a local guy who advertises that he has thirty years experience, what a mistake ). Boot solenoid refused to operate so got a new one from Mod-wise, superb service from David, but still cannot get it to operate. I was finishing tidying the car up today and eventually got it off the stands about 19.30. Tried to fire it up but no luck, plugs out, wet through, in the oven to dry them then tried one to check the spark! Absolutely nothing, eventually called it a day, pissed off, soaking wet, tired, grumpy, really really pissed off was so looking forward to the meet up .
I hope you all have a super day, be safe, make a lot of noise and enjoy yourselves .

Sorry to hear that Ray.

Is there no chance that you can sort it this morning and follow on later??

It seems a shame to try so hard and miss the day with a problem which was not evident beforehand.

SCH3 over for me at 7.00am this morning.......

NSR blowout at reasonable speed on the M4

Never happened to me before - quite scary. Drove home on spacesaver and unlikely to get a new tyre in time to drive up.

Have a great time - look forward to seeing some pics.

I may as well add my name to the list .....

I was there yesterday and had a great day. Got a call from Mrs. K at about 5:15 to get home ASAP - she's got a job on - so had to leave early yesterday and at home today sitting on baby.

Yes, I'd been looking forward to it for months but had to work. First Sunday I've had to work in 10 years. Great timing!

Same here.. Wish it wasn't the 1st Sunday I've worked in 10 years though; more like averaging every other one right now..
