Later Blower Knob

Hi all

Could some kind soul tell me the behavior of the heater control unit / knob please, as I'm trying to adapt the TVR switchgear to a *cough* non-TVR control unit....


Looking at CONN2, the connector to the knob TVR M1163... A few questions as I don't have a later Chim in front of me, nor can I find any detailed pictures of the unit.

1. Is illum ALWAYS ON from the heater control unit, or is it switched on and off by the control unit if the fans are off?
2. What is the voltage of illum?
3. The switching/button behavior of M1163, does it simply stop outputting a SP SIG back to the control unit upon press?
