Yesterday driving back to midlands from Cardiff. Just approaching a 40 zone and blue lights behind me, I slowed down and pulled over to let it pass. It then carried on staying at 40 in the zone. Fair enough.

We left the zone and blues and siren still going and it accelerated to about 50. I am then still behind it. Cars in front then behan to pull over seeing blue lights. Roxxa continued to drive past them and then carried on at about 50. Eventually, we had this long snake of vehicles who had pulled over stuck behind a bloody rozza doing 50.

Would there be any reason why a rozza would have lights and sirens blaring but go so slowly? I would understand if it was an ambulance with patient at risk inside but this was a jam sandwich car.

Couldn't get plate number as was behind other cars who had pulled over for him.

Really bizarre and not sure where he headed off due to length of queue he created.

Roxxa, you don't have to put on the blue light.

The amount of slang in that OP is quite something.

Looking for something? I've done it a few times if I am looking for something (normally an item in the road). Don't want people to overtake.

Wouldn't you then light up the "don't pass" board. Hmm guess it was single carriageway, is there any code restricting overtaking an emergency vehicle?

Weird OP but I suspect of stuck behind them too.

This, so many things could be going on that you're not aware of. Give the 'rozzas' some space, they do a tough job for not very much money, crack on lads, just don't ever stop me for speeding please.

Not all cars have them (in my force only traffic). Nope there isn't...but it's normally common sense that there is something going on up a head. Perhaps the OP couldn't see them waving their arms to slow down? Or maybe there was a board that he couldn't see?

I've been in similar situations before but never been so triggered to post about it on the internet because it's a fairly insignificant event and I presume they're doing it for a reason.

Thanks. Either way both of us sat behind "the rozzas" like good citizens ( actual and theoretical). A lack of common sense would be unwise on PH. laugh
