Hello everyone, after quite a bit of searching I’ve finally got myself in a proper M car, with this Carbon Black E46 M3. It’s a fairly good spec with it being on 96k miles, red leathers, sunroof and manual amongst other things. A big thing for me is the Style 67 wheels, as I hate the diamond cut 19’s that a lot of them come on. The boot floor has been done too by EverythingM3’s, which is one big job I don’t have to deal with!
I bought it off a chap in London who had owned the car for approx 6 months before he had to sell due to other commitments, however the owner previous to him has spent an absolute fortune on the car in the time he has owned it. I have had a quick look, and I haven’t seen it in any other cutters posts but if one of the previous owners is on here, please say hello!
In terms of plans for the future, the rod bearings and an inspection II are at the top of the list, however a little bit of tidying up of the bodywork here and there is on the agenda. While it is very clean for its age, there is a couple bits that need improved for sure.
Here are some photos for now, I will update when I get some better ones!

This in my option was the best spec’d and priced car to come on the market in months.
If I was looking I’d have been at the sellers house in a heartbeat. Perfect combination IMO.
Good work!
How many owners has it had? If it’s not had regular e.g every 5/6k oil changes, I’d get the bearings done ASAP.

I thought so too that’s why it’s now on my driveway haha. I got a bit of money off the advert price too, so very pleased. If I was looking I’d have been at the sellers house in a heartbeat. Perfect combination IMO.

It’s done about 5-6k in the last 3 years or so, with regular changes. However as peace of mind, I’m like going to get the Rod Bearings done over the next few weeks before it gets tucked away for winter.
Nice OP. I had one very similar some years ago, 2004 LCI carbon black manual coupe with the tv (that was quite desirable back then!) on the 19s which were a bugger to clean and refurb. Would go for a set of CSL wheels if I had another. Great fun throttle response is awesome, the S54 is one of the greats IMO. Money were no object I’d have another and maybe add the 4:1 diff from Everything M3s as quicker acceleration is more relevant than top speed here in the UK. Enjoy it

Lovely, and it's a manual too.
New rod bearing shells will give you peace of mind given the age of the car and limited knowledge of its history.
I bought a 2006 Z4M Coupe in 2019 with 7 previous keepers and had the shells (and engine mounts) replaced in 2020 on 78K miles - half were showing copper!
Then just enjoy the S54 engine once it is properly up to temperature.
