Hi are you having issues booking your BMW in for Service ?

Im in London and my Local service (Park Lane Battersea) seem almost unwilling to service my 2018 X3. Have called and left info for call-back on 4 ocasions and no joy.

Any one else seeing this with BMW Dealers ? Or can you recommend a good Ind in SW London?

There was about a 3 week wait to get mine in at York BMW last month. Have you tried booking it online?

I booked online with Berry Thames Ditton, about two weeks for the appointment ... serviced while I waited, worked in their showroom and drank their coffee. All done in less than 2 hours.

It took 10 days for Berry Thames Ditton to call me back, and now they cannot get me in before my MOT expires (in four weeks time). I rang multiple times every day for those 10 days, and left multiple messages. I did try booking online but it suggested I needed two services, with neither matching what I was expecting.

I was astonished at the price they quoted as well - given how popular service seems to be I assumed they were giving it away!!

Last year was a nightmare as well, so looking at changing car brands for the first time in 8 years - I love my car but getting it serviced in South West London is a painful experience.

Book it on line at BMWservice

Allows you to chose a dealer and confirm the price

I wish, I have tried that a number of times, no call back.

If you book it on line why does the dealer need to call you back.

You select the dealer, the work required, date and time.

And you get the price and appointment confirmed all without speaking to the dealer

Welcome to London. Main dealers are busy - so expect to plan ahead. It's been like this for decades.

Why? Because "prestige brand" car owners who change their cars every 2 or 3 years are terrified of ending up without the magic "stamps in the book".

I tried it yesterday and it just says the nominated dealer will call you. They are all struggling due to a large recall for 60,000 units.

The disappointing thing with this it that Park Lane are the worst and they are the only BMW owned dealer

Why bit simply ring. the dealer and stay on the line till you get to speak to the service dept direct ?
