$30,000 Spitfire
Discussion
Found this Spitfire for sale in America, it apparantly only has 35 miles on the clock but I'm a bit suspicious as there seems to be too much damage on the wishbones to account for only 35 miles. What do you think ?, and even with that mileage I would not pay 13 grand for a Spitty.

Okay I remembered it wrong, It is up for $25,000 and not $30,000. Looking through the site there are some really nice pictures of the cars there at really high resolution, got the white spitty as my backdrop at the mo and the shots of the engine bay have come in handy for seeing what mine should look like.
That's a pretty 'new' Spitfire. The mileage can't be high, but I don't believe it has only done 35 miles.
The fuse box cover is cracked, the paint on the panel that carries the pedals has been eaten by brake fluid and the way the battery is held down is definitely non-standard!
It's probably been clocked from a low mileage to an even lower mileage. And it's federalised, single carb, low compression, full of power-robbing emission control rubbish, and with overweight plastic bumpers, so completely undesirable.
I'll take the body for a fiver, to stick on a GT6 chassis.
