Dehydrating Stuff
Discussion
As there has been a bumper crop of mushrooms this year (see mushroom thread), we bought a dehydrator.
It's fun! Have been wandering around doing different things: Mushrooms, Bananas, Chestnuts, Acorns, Chicken strips (supposedly for the dog as treats, but wow they are nice).
Anyone have any more suggestions or 'unusual' things I can dehydrate?

I’ve read about those uses, never known anyone to try them - is it good?
It has a pleasant taste, not a substitute for real coffee if you want a caffeine hit in the morning. In general just decided to do a bit more foraging as a hobby — its amazing the things you can eat that actually taste quite good. Made stinging nettle cake, just harvested a bunch of rose-hips to make into jam.
