Getting a bit bored of re-reading my Jack Reacher novels.

Are there any others you'd recommend from 2022?

I enjoyed I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes. I gets mixed reviews on Amazon though.

If you like the film Heat give the book Heat 2 a go - it starts where the film left off then becomes a both prequel and sequel. Absolutely gripping, I tore through it.

I enjoyed that one too, fed up of waiting for his next book though. Must be at least 5 years.

Orphan X reminds me of Tom Cruise in the Reacher films. Similar storylines but Orphan X is an average size killing machine. Good stuff though.

Okay it wasn't published this year but I've just read it again for the nth time and I'd say The Eagle Has Landed is among the best action/thrillers of all time.
Don't think it matters particularly whether you're into the Second World War or not, it's utterly gripping from start to finish.

Been a while but I really like the Eagle series by Simon Scarrow.
It follows the story of two men in a Roman Legion and the adventures and battles they get into.
My dad was a big Jack Reacher fan and I lent him my Eagle books and he got hooked.

Dennis Lehane is consistently pretty good, among others he wrote Mystic River. A bit nastier than the Reacher books.

If you liked Reacher try Jack Slater The trapp series
Anything by Andy Maslen I’ve done all of Gabriel Wolfe and Stella Cole thrillers

And absolutely anything by Stephen Leather. Every single book of his I’ve loved.
