Almost certainly him - but tends to prefer the Royal Oak over the Five Bells!

It certainly was me mate. That road from Aubourn to Bassingham is fantastic, I just wish they'd chop the vegetation down around the 90 degree bends, keeping hoping I'm not going to meet a horse coming out of the apex

Made the mistake of having the hi-fi on too loud, don't realise how quick I'm going until braking for the 30 limit in Bassingham.

Were you the 996 C2 00PE?

Lee, feel free to offer your fantastic online spell check!!

Spell check not required - you seem to be getting better!!! Know what you mean about those high hedges - they really take the edge off my Focus 1.8 (Zetec)!!!!!!!!

NOT taking the piss, but I bet you can have as much fun in the Focus as you can in a 911 on that road. Plus you won't do too much damage to the horse at 15mph.

Probably, but not too many threads on here start with:

'...spotted, Focus on road to Aubourn...'

I guess its a presence thing!

yup, now its C2 0OUP was C2 COUP before i removed the pretend plastic bolt covers

I remember you followed me a few weeks back also, brant road ?

that road is the main reason i try not to drive my bike, whenever I come back home I just cant help myself.. .. .. nice curvy 60mph lane with 2 cool dual 90 degree S bends, one at each end (for those that havent had the pleasure) thrown in to seperate the proud from the brave.

Yes I do remember. At first I thought it was a C4 Celebration, but then thought the badge was probably an afterthought because of the number plate. Don't usually go for aftermarket stuff, but that spoiler looks that absolute business. Chasing you down Brant Road it looked so planted, until that right hander near Harmston!

It was fascinating to see the difference in grip, your 996 went sideways and the 997 just went round the corner. I must say I was impressed, you must've nailed the throttle before the apex for the back end to slide out like that. Then you gave it a bagfull towards Aubourn and the back went again, unfortunately I had to go to Brant Broughton. If not it would've been interesting. That straight to Aubourn is a 140mph road in the 997.

I thought I would chuck it round there to see what you did, tried to get the rear end out just for fun :P

but on the straight, that was just too much throttle, not enough grip, had a bit of a fishtale going on smokin

the Spoiler is a gemballa spoiler but I took of the BIG GEMBALLA sticker that was on the back in like 4 inch high white letters, and put the celebration 911 numbers on it, looks more casual now I think rather than LOOK AT MY SPOILER!

Im glad you like it and no doubt ill spot you again somtime.

cheers
