Hello

Looking to find a pension provider who will accept a DB pension transfer which is below £30k. As the value is below £30k, I am not required to take financial advice but my current personal pension provider (Fidelity) won't accept the transfer without advice.

Can anyone recommend a provider who could help please?

Thanks

I have exactly this going on now. I put my whole fund with a provider this year with advice. Now I am doing some tidying up and want to put just a small pot from an old pension, and it's proving difficult. The £30k sub no advice rule seems to have gone it appears . All providers are getting really tricky. The bit I want to put in is sub 1% of my main pot.Or was till our pathetic chancellor and PM got in. I found out today they want to interview me to gauge my financial understanding by Zoom . I have 40 years Banking and Financial Markets experience let's see how I do .

Thanks for replying. Which providers have you contacted?

I can't advise who will accept without advice. My experience as said is even my pension provider of my main main fund does not wish to do so. There is some new FCA guidelines that have tightened this up.

You'll struggle with this. Providers don't want DB business & advisers will not be keen to be involved either as the fees will be disproportionate.
