Planet Ocean Bracelet Replacement
Discussion
Long story short, I need a new bracelet for my Planet Ocean GMT (the Goodplanet edition if it matters)
After seeing what one would cost from Omega, I got on Google to see what was on offer.
Second hand and/or "genuine" from random websites seems to be a way to spend a lot for something of questionable quality...
I'd be happy with a decent quality knockoff, but they all seem to be 20/22mm - according to Omega (and my steel rule) my lugs are 21mm apart...
Has to be a few Planet Oceans here - has anyone ever bought a bracelet that fits and they are happy with?

I would avoid a knock-off bracelet.
If you can cope with flat end links, Geckota/Watch Gecko will sell you a very, very nice 21mm bracelet with a good clasp for about £60:

Maybe worth a look as a stop-gap.

I have the same watch - it came on a bracelet, but I put a rubber strap on it. It is the Omega rubber, so not exactly cheap.

Snap.

Mine is on the same strap most of the time (personally I think it suits it better) - only mild annoyance is the white stitching is looking a bit scabby in places. Wish I had asked them to throw in the bracelet when I bought mine - felt I would be pushing my luck after managing to negotiate a near 20% discount, but you don't ask, you don't get...
Will probably end up biting the bullet and paying the Omega Tax or just leaving it. Those WatchGecko ones look lovely (and I guess the quality will be spot on) but I think the flat end would make my teeth itch.
I gave up after looking for a 'genuine' bracelet for mine, after the ridiculous quote from Omega (teach me to buy it on rubber). After trying several cheapo sailcloths and bracelet replica's and scratching up my lugs I settled on a mesh which I think is from Geckota but is a carbon copy of a Staib. Finally happy now but took years, might even start wearing it again!!
Good luck
Good luck
