Hi. Bit of a lurker here. Always find most of the advice on here sensible. So here I am asking for you wisdom.

I'm no powerfully built director. In fact think the opposite end of the scale. Basic wage is around 25k a year, but I do some overtime to bring it to the mid 30's. Pay 6% into my pension and company pays 10%.

I've recently fix my mortgage for 10 years with 30k left. So my monthly payment has reduced and the amount I can overpay before hitting the ERC is pretty low.

I want to put some money away for retirement. The LISA looks a good option with the 25% bonus. Im 37 so some time before I will be able to touch this money.

When I looked at opening the account and saw all the options I really was lost. Do I play it safe and just get a cash ISA? Or will taking a risk with a managed stocks ISA work out in the long term? And if so what fund would you choose?

Thanks in advance for any help.
