F87 Front Grille Replacement Options
Discussion
Has anybody had to replace their front grille, either through choice or due to damage? A pigeon decided to go through mine at the weekend and while the radiator looks ok, there's now a gaping hole in one side of the grille.
I'm going to guess the OEM BMW part will be in the region of £400 so was wondering if there's any other options out there? I don't mind paying for the BMW part but the car isn't a keeper so I'm not bothered about keeping it looking exactly standard. No painted M stripes please, but is there anything else nicer for the cash?

This happened to me 3-4 years ago, don't recall that it was very expensive at all? Went straight through at around 90mph. Radiator was a bit of a mess but cleaned up with a pressure spray and no significant damge. Easy to re-fit the new grill.I'm going to guess the OEM BMW part will be in the region of £400 so was wondering if there's any other options out there? Thanks... I'll call the dealer today - I was going off online prices, but you're right, its literally just a plastic grille so even by BMW's standards they can't charge much for that surely!Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
