Does anyone have experience of suing a company in the USA for a few hundred dollars?
I'm having issues with a company who keep mugging me off.

If it was a UK based business I would have issued a small claim court judgement against them by now.
It's a pretty clear cut case.

Many cases are won in small claims court by the other party being a no show, giving you a judgment by default. You still have to collect
I have used a lawyer a couple of times, one cost me $200 for a phone call, the other was 30%. Both settled within 7 days. I got lucky, not always that easy.

Need someone in the US to comment, but would the Better Business Bureau https://www.bbb.org (click on "File a Complaint") be any use?

I've contacted a government mediation service in Delaware to enquire whether they can apply some pressure.
They emailed back with a form but it's unclear whether I need to be a US resident or not.
