Do any of you bother to take a cheap plastic bike cover when you go off touring?

I've got very limited experience of going away on my bike but have notice the bike covered in condensation in the morning and having to find some paper towels to dry the seat off.
I'm thinking a cheap cover would give some protection from overnight rain and bird crap etc and they can't take up much room?

Just a thought ......

Yes I've done it most times I've been touring for the added weather protection and security when away from home. I have a garage so I've just got a really thin cheapy one I take away with me when touring
