How many seats do you need?

I had an SL for 7 years, bought it new (r231 SL400), lovely thing. It was a convertable when you wanted a coupe when you didn't.

I'd never buy a soft top, the folding metal roof drew me to the SL.

Audi R8 V10 or 911 Turbo.

They’ll give you the thrills and hold their value over time. If pushed, R8 S-Tronic.

Heart would say Aston V8 Vantage or Maserati Granturismo for a tin top

I’d also say with my head any 911 for coupe, targa or cabrio.
