A couple of times I have seen cars (commonly vans) with an 'Arai' sticker on the back of it. I have questioned this, and found that the driver of the van is a biker, so he displays the sticker so other bikers know this. I presume this is so you know they're not going to block you, or so they know you have seen them. So, do any of you lot practice this method, and what are your opinions of it?

Cheers :)

A good idea.....Never thought of that. Now that I'm an experianced "BIKER" (licence for 4 days and no bike) I'll get myself one!

I guess it's to point out that they're bikers too and, as such, they will far better and more considerate car drivers!

Have sympathy on them because they are probably in the van or car 'under duress'!

My only worry in doing this is showing thieving scum that you might have a bike in your garage. For this reason I don't have any bike stickers on my car or van.

Good call...Then again, park the bike in front of the car, then they might ONLY nick the car!

Yup, I've got a Kawasaki sticker on the back of my truck. For pretty much the reasons above.
Regularly get a thumbs up, mainly from sports bike riders. Mind you, its mainly sports/sports tourer bikers that make the effort to thank anyway.
But thats another thread.

Lol, fair enough on the gixer, but...and you really wouldn't believe it, the SV's had a lick of paint and is now in Steve Jordan Motorcycles colours. It's a beauty with not a mark on it and it's done 5 races in that state of perfection. It's just got to do 4 more at Brands Hatch and then it'll be up for sale.

Any budding minitwinners (www.minitiwins.co.uk) give me a shout if interested in purchasing my bike for next years championship.

The results of the bike this year speaks for itself:

5 wins
12 seconds
5 thirds

Ive got an MCN 'thumbs down to cameras' sticker on my car. Not worried about security as my bike lives outside chained to a ground anchor anyway.
