Multiple press releases went out last week about 'EggChup' a squeezeble egg yolk containing two ingredients - egg yolk and salt.

Surely this can't work without preservatives, emulsifiers etc. It would just solidify and go off, especially in the fridge.

Although all the press releases claim it's available now - it's in no shops, there are no reviews and in my opinion it clearly doesn't exist.

What on earth is going on?

Short answer. No.

They’ve employed a new PR firm. This was all about their new ‘breakfast sausage’, and getting media attention.

Shame! I knew from the ingredients it was impossible.

I wish nothing but ill-fortune for that company now.
