I’ve had 5 auctions ruined in the last few days by w@nkers bidding on the lots and then not paying or replying to any messages. They all join on the day the auction ends, obviously have zero feedback and bid the item and win at the last minute.
I can relist the item but only after no payment is received after 5 days. I’m beginning to wonder if I’ve a stalker causing mischief.
The lots are all old space and Star Wars lego so a potential link.
Anything I can do?

When I sell anything decent I state on the listing that buyers must have been registered for a year and have at least 10 positive feedback, otherwise they need to contact me before bidding. I then keep an eye on the auction as it’s ending and block those who haven’t complied with the above. This is in addition to setting buyer requirements to the most restrictive settings in the control panel.
There are too many idiots on eBay to give people the benefit of the doubt unfortunately.

As above, all you can reallly do is keep an eye on bids and block any from new members with low or zero feedback. Remember to add them to your blocked bidder list. You can also block bidders with unpaid strikes against them in your buyer requirements section.
Also, as they've won the auction, eBay will furnish you with their address, so you could always send them one of these...

You can check their accounts when they do bid, and just delete their bids if the accounts are suss!
Trouble is they are sniping in the closing minute. They are going to some effort to p!ss me off!Steve vRS said:

That's a very useful link.
Only ever had 1 really bad buyer not paying ,his "positive" feedback was full of "not paid " "block this buyer"
Luckily I had an underbidder who I contacted straight away and told them the winner was unlikely to pay and after the 5 day wait period I offered it to them and they were very grateful for the second chance .

How about this place for selling. Vectis toy auction specialists. I watched the TV series showing their business, auctions etc.. They run specialised auctions for many items. Star Wars stuff has its own auctions and items gathered in readiness.
