Tyre fitter - London SW

As my usual local garage I use for my other car were apprehensive about changing tyres on the rear of a 911, I'm hoping for a recommendation for a good fitter in Wandsworth or thereabouts used to changing wider fitments.

An added complication is centre-lock wheels, but if they can handle both without damage then any suggestions would be welcome.

Look up Pirelli Performance Centres - they tend to have wider experience - there used to be one your end of Kingston Hill

There are hundreds of 911 in SW London so am surprised that your fitter is so uncomfortable.

I’ve used London independents and kwik fit type firms for 911 and they’ve never raised such issues.

If you are worried, then safest is the OPC by chiswick. Any damage or issues they will sort, but you will pay OPC price.

A cheaper alternative I’ve found are the increasing wheel and tyre shops that serve the fast and furious type drivers. They are experienced handling large wheel diameters and crazy low profile rubber.
