Vauxhall VXRS the future?

Are Vauxhall producing their VXR range to flood the Kit car market with spares for decades to come?

Will kits of tomorrow be using 250bhp V6 Vectra Engines instead of the loyal Pinto?. We all know how fast Vectras depreciate, im thinking this could open doors to some cheap spare engines / donor cars in the future.
