Silverstone trip did not go as planned this year

Lost 5th gear heroically overtaking a minibus.
got to junction of a34 m40 and realised 3rd and 2nd had gone too.

made it as far as cherwell valley services. 1st and reverse also missing.
decided to get a lift home...



Didn't miss out entirely, as we bumped into Graham (GI) and his lady in the V8S

Hope to see you all at SCH4, if not sooner.

Hi Alistair - not nice to bump into you again in such circumstances.

We saw your car with the roof down first, then went to get some petrol but I thought I'd just come round again to pop an S Club entry sticker in your car in case you were an owner who knew nothing about SCH.

I didn't recognise the car until you got out......... doh!

What an arse about your gears........

Maybe we can meet up again for a blast nearer to home. Jon in his green S3 was there.
