The front outer edge of the tyres on my BMW 320d are wearing. All other tyres are in good condition. The front are also in good condition it's only the outer edge of them that has worn. I've heard that this might be caused by wheel alignment. BMW use KDS but can this be sorted using Hunter?

That is just the equipment used to do the job, the job can be done on many different equipment, but most of all the tool doing the job must know what he is doing. wink

Would getting just the front alignment done be ok or do I need to do an alignment for them all?

Outer edge front tyre wear on a 3 series is apparently quite a common observation. Both of my E46s had that tendency, though not to an extent that was alarming. After asking around a bit I came to the conclusion they might be working as intended.

Not personally.

OK, your current issue may well be caused by front alignment but what if next year at MOT time it is the rears & you then need a 4 wheel alignment doing?

Don't do 1/2 the job it may save doing it again.

Outer edge tyre wear is common, and without seeing it, it may not be an issue. It certainly won’t be an MOT issue. If your car has some miles under its belt, a four wheel alignment check may be useful. Photos?
