The title always conjures up Sky Sports deadline day from when they used to report outside various football grounds hehe

1. Like everything, not so big anymore
2. But more importantly suspiciously, has anyone noticed the reduction in nut size contained within?

Absolute travesty of modern confectionary. They've replaced the large hazelnut with some weeny nut for ants.

Unacceptable.
Well, you can imagine the handwringing when it changed from a Brazil nut to a hazel nut.

Another example of shrinkflation. I believe that the argument that it's to maintain a steady calorific intake does not work because surely you'd have more just to compensate.

I posted elsewhere about McVities Gold bars being something like 22g only a few years ago, now down to like 18g. Visibly shorter after having not had them for a while. It just looked pathetic. The equivalent length of a fun size Mars bar.

Multipack used to be 7x3 = 21 (approximately 462g), now 6x3 = 18 (approximately 324g), yet it is still the same price.

So you're getting 138g less than before. IIRC that's around the same total weight of a multipack of 4 Bounty / Kit Kat Chunky type chocolates (assuming they've not shrunk further with things like Double Deckers, Boosts and Picnics).

Alternatively, divide that by the current 18g bars and you're being deprived of (owed) 7.6 Gold bars!

I think that of the few things that have actually stayed the same size are Tunnocks Caramel Wafers and Caramel Logs. Some reassurance there I suppose!

Apparently a 'portion' is two Quality Street.

I've had more calories brushing my teeth.
If everybody just 'had a portion', you'd still be eating last year's tub!!
