Don't know if there is a thread for this year, and not normally that bothered, though I have enjoyed watching it sometimes, but......

Matt Hancock !!!!!

I'm going to be voting for the 1st time ever :-)

I can’t get my head around how they’re allowed to do this as a serving MP. No other job could you just sod off for possibly a few weeks and drop everything and still have a job when you came back

Rishi completely blanking him on his PM appointment day makes a lot more sense now.

It's extremely unlikely that he will. If he does go back into the job, the backlash will be monumental. I'd like to think our new Prime Minister has his finger on the pulse and slightly better morals than Boris Johnson, and wouldn't dare allow Hancock to wedge himself back into the Conservative party after he's received a £600k/£700k/£800k payment for that?

A bit like Boris Johnson trotting off to Greece and the Caribbean since he's resigned as PM. The man is still a local MP (thankfully not mine). When was the last time your local PM took weeks away form work with no explanation?

Anyway, I wonder if they will make his ex-wife or current floozie an offer they can't refuse?

Boy George as well I see. Another morally bankrupt waster.

There is a bit of discussion on Matt Hancock and the effects of him appearing on the show in this thread:

Being an MP is not a job. They are effectively self employed and answer to their constituents. They can have other paid employment as well as being an MP if they want to (there are a few rules though).

Mad Nads did it a few years ago (was also suspended) despite that and her persistent incompetence she remains an MP.

The whole country is going to vote for him to eat a bag of dicks.
He really will be living up to his name.

You could pay him £1mil and the show would make multiples of that in voting revenue. Smart show move.

I can only assume he has never seen the show before. He is going to get voted for every single time.

Agreed, I’m a huge Moyles fan and was worried he would get most of the tasks due to his marmite nature

Not worried now Hancock is joining :-)

I believe Boy George got the biggest paycheck at £500k, so Hancock will be on less.

I won't be watching this ste so just came here to say that in a mad few months of politics I didn't think it could get any crazier!! Still 2 moths to go though, enough time for Trump to apply for citizenship and get elected in a surprise by-electionbiggrin

To be fair, that was incredibly hard.
Sort of thing you'd like to think you could do but until you try you'll never know.

Only just started watching, Chris Moyles looks like Gazza, but I think (hope) he'll be interesting to watch as will Hancock, Eileen off of Corry and Boy George for me, they're the only ones I recognise or have watched/listened to.
Tits n lips will provide eye candy.

The London comedian is useless at everything - had a sheltered millennial life I guess.
