Worth improving a Fiat 500L?
Discussion
Hi I recently picked up one of these for the missus. It's one of the 7 seater beasts, 0.9ltr turbo TwinAir and manual.
It's the first MPV in the family, and boy does it drive like one
Anyway there are a few things to smarten up, firstly I will be getting the wheels refurbished and a fresh set of matching tyres. I am wondering however if the handling (mainly) is worth improving. There are Eibach springs available with a moderate drop for just over £150 and I could in turn add some spacers to the wheels, which I actually have hanging around from a previous car.
There's also the possibility of mapping the engine? Though that's not as important at this stage.
The missus wouldn't care either way. Wondering if it'd mess her insurance cover up though. Once I add on the fitting costs is it worth it... any comments?
