Identify this car (crash for cash driver)

HI All,

My friend things she has fallen victim to a crash-for-cash scheme, but only took these (somewhat compromised) photos. Any ideas what it is? The wheels look like a Peugot, but the light a bit like a MK5 Golf, I really can't work it out.

Also sorry about the lame post, but i do appreciate your help.

It’s an E60 5 series bmw - alloy confirms it but body quite obvious IMO

EDIT: or an X5

E60 - I was right. The bumper line is quite distinctive



EDIT: I’m wrong - rear light is different!

Got it now - it’s the E61 5 series touring

Mk2 Skoda Superb, look at the rear bumper line up to the light. And the moulding line in the bumper, E61 doesn't have that.



And sitting on these wheels, Greenline spec:

Those look a bit like Insignia wheels but the rear light doesn’t look right

In my defence I thought it was these BMW alloys so got carried away with my certainty - I can see now that the Skoda has the right number of spokes

Wow, this is great guys, thanks so much. I have to admit i did at one point consider it might be a Skoda, but I completely forgot the Superb existed (such a boring car).

nebpor - i got excited when i saw the E60 too, those wheels are very similar. And csd19 - congratulations, nice work.
