Hi folks... got my (first) Tuscan on saturday and haven't stopped smiling since!

However, does anyone know of a good technical resource... something half way between the supplied manual (good but brief) and a workshop manual (I'll leave that to the garage)?

Thanks

Big Al.

Don't think there is anything. It's the handbook or nothing.

BTW congratulations on the purchase. OH

It kinda feels like there's a business oportunity there.....

Something like a Haynes manual (for the bits we will do) combined with the collective experience of the PH TVR forums.

So where do I find out how to unlock my Tuscan from the outside when the battery is dead etc?

Ask your garage or the person you bought it from.

I wrote a fairly lengthy guide for the chap that bought my Tuscan off me - I'll post it up later tonight.

If it has emergency entry information, I'd prefer it if you didn't.

Trust misplaced, then... Just Googled my PC to find it's not there. Grrrr. Will do a more indepth hunt for it ASAP, beginning to wonder if I just scrawled it on a sheet or three of A4!

Fear not good Sir - if you haven't found it by tomorrow morning, I'll scan it and post it (after checking for {ahem} sensitive info.)

BTW - the beast will be back OTR within the next few weeks...... 'good as new' from the chassis up!

Neill, bud... good to see you're still around.

Not sure if I put that info on it or not... and was it a handwritten list in the end (can't remember whether I typed it up or not)?

Dropped you a mail to see how the claim's going the other week, too... guess it's good news if you're getting it done chassis up. Tip top. Make sure they waxoyl it & keep me posted - I miss the old girl...

As promised..........

James......whatever happened to V2.0?
Did the upgrade not solve the problem?

Cool, I'll see if i can type a few keywords from that in and bring up the original document - might be on the work laptop or something. If so, I'll stick it up for download (and take out the bits specific to T111VVR).

2.0 is the new 1.0. Upgrades all worked fine; the "branding" just wasn't right... I'm thinking JSG+

Nelly

Thanks for that... exactly what I was looking for. I also followed previous advice and asked the garage what to do if the battery is flat and the leads are in the boot

But for now I know what the pedals do and that's about all I need!
