what with the interest rates changing ive already moved savings into a new account and suspect in the following weeks i will need to move again and start yet another account elsewhere

does repeatedly opening /trying to open new accounts cause any issues , guessing they run some sort of credit check etc? or crack on and open as many as you like?

To take advantage of various regular saver accounts (which have been the only way recently to get decent rates) I've ended up with 7 current accounts and multiple savings accounts of different types. It doesn't seem to have affected my credit rating at all.

I have quite a few , the really annoying one is Tesco - where you need to keep opening a new one to get a better deal. They won’t just transfer across.

I’ve got 5 with HL using their active savings accounts. Various terms and interest rates, as they mature I move them to another. Managed alongside my ISA stock and shares and my funds and shares account on their platform.

5.05% on some of their accounts. Inflation ruins any interest of course but whilst it’s locked away for a fixed term it stops me spending it on rubbish

No impact on my credit rating with ClearScore
