appologies if this has been done before,

is there a real cure for snoring?

My lovely young lady hasn't mentioned it yet, but I know that its going to become an issue in time: I snore loudly, how do i stop?

thanks

When my grumpy snores I find a pillow placed in a subtle manner over the face does the trick!

Apparently singing before you go to sleep helps as this strengthens the weak muscles in the back of the throat that are partially to blame for making you snore. If you have a good sing for an hour every night your partner might be happy for you to snore instead

you aint wrong there, it's because of people with my singing talent that the likes of Bob Dylan get away with singing live!!!

Just get the missus to poke you in the ribs (with her elbow), and tell you to roll over chances are you wont remember her doing it and she'll go to sleep straight away.

I've had a sinussy cold this week and Mr Rude says I've been snoring badly, but if he nudges me I turn over and it stops.

Might just be worth telling her that you know you snore, and that she shouldn't be shy about giving you a push to make you change position if you get too noisy?

I get poked wake up turn on my side and wake with a dead arm, happened so often I thought I was getting RSI due to lack of blood supply to my arm.
Problem solved when she moved out, snore loudly and get a good nights sleep.

Get on to the Radio 2 web site and listen to the last half hour to hour of Jeremy Vine's show today.

It was ALL about snoring and they had an expert in answering questions.

Yes thanks - lot of fun.

But about this snoring........

There's the old tennis ball sewn into the back of what you sleep in. But if you sleep commando that might be a problem. There's an aerosol that the partner can spray over you that has a good rep. I think it's called zyclon B or somesuch.

Snorings amazing. I had to share a room with my brother a while back and by 05.00 I wanted him dead. At around 05.30 he stopped and I couldn't hear him breathing. I thought to myself - he's died...maybe now I can get some sleep.

Bastard was still alive and started again.

06.00 I was on the worlds most uncomfortable couch. Much better.
