Boot Accessory Socket Fuse

Seems to be a common issue that the fuse numbering is not as documented and or consistent. I've managed to blow the fuse to my boot accessory socket, the handbook says it's 5a No47 in the cabin. I've checked that along with all the others to no avail. Can't find anything in the boot fuse box either that seems to have blown, anyone got any ideas? I would have thought that it would be >5a as well?

To answer my own question - I eventually found it - Fuse 76, labelled as blank in my handbook. The reason I didn't spot it before is because it has been used with a piggy back/fuse extender, I must have only tested one of them. Another pass spotted it!

I now have a magnetic charge point at the rear of my car!

@AMV8Stuart.. I have always wanted to install a magnetic charge connector to my DB9.. even bought all the bits from Sherman at Hethelsport, but I can’t find a convenient spot at the rear of my car. It has to be at the rear, there is a thread here somewhere with people installing it at the front. Was wondering if your install might give me some ideas even though it is a different car. Do you have pics or comments you could share?

Hi, I located it on the mesh behind the transmission oil cooler, at the right hand side adjacent the exhaust. I was toying doing it at the front, would have been far easier, also on the mesh, the cable route would be simpler up to the terminals in the engine bay. However, I wasn't too keen on it being exposed to the harsher environment rather than the more protected location at the rear.

I just cut out a hole in the mesh to the right size and ran the cable up behind the wheel arch liner up to the rear light then through the grommet into the boot and connected to the rear of the accessory power socket.
