Hi all - does any one know the easy way to take the back seats out??? - just an enquiry really, no real reason other than giving car a bit of a clean the other day, and noticed a load of cack down the sides of the rear seats that I can't get to.

Don't tell me, they are probably welded in and it costs 500 quid to get em out!!!

...there are four rusty screws at the underside of the car you have to cut with an angle grinder - the only way to get the seats out! Backrests the same - plus two screws under rear parcel shelf.

Plus hidden screws in the parcel shelf. Maybe. sometimes.

Also if the bolts are ground out, they will need to be replaced as they are captive bolts originally. Also sometimes the foam sticks to the GRP and won't come out.

Also forgot that you may also need to remove the seat belt fitting to give enough room to get the squab out.

Well what a surprise - it couldn't be that there are a couple of stainless good quality clips and some hardened steel screws ubder a brushed aluminium side trim, oh no I have to get under the car and angle grind some f****ng screws out that are probably rusted into the bloody chassis.

Thanks chaps I think I'll leave them in place for now !!!
