I'm not so sure those are speed cameras despite what's written, I'm also possibly wrongly under the belief that at least until recently speed cameras couldn't operate or at least be used as evidence if they were used behind glass.

I'm assuming it's just CCTV gathering for phone and belt offences.

Thoughts?

That’s just a camcorder. Not sure what they are trying to achieve beyond what a dash cam could do.

They aren’t speed cameras

I imagine they are used to film people using mobile phones and not wearing seatbelts whilst the bus is stationary

Is this the sort of job people apply for now that they're not standing in supermarkets telling you which direction you need to walk around the aisles to fight covid?

Ie Anything that involves wearing a high vis jacket for the purposes of making the lives of the general public more miserable.

When I was young, old blokes filming people on buses was something school warned you about..
