It’s coming up. I’ve never been. I am shopping. Worth bothering or just stick with the local dealers?

Are the bike parking/storage arrangements convenient?

I go every year but I live near

Previous years the bike parking is excellent - undercover and nearby

I pay a pound or two to hang my jacket / trousers in the cloakroom and chain my helmet to the bike

It's great if you want to see lots of different bikes as Dealers are pretty spread out these days

I always have a go on a few bikes (take your license) last time I went out on a Rocket 3 it's admittedly a short route and the Rocket was definitely detuned frown

Not much stuff on sale in recent years - a few jackets / helmets etc but that's it

I’m thinking of going.

Wanting to look at helmets (and get properly measured for one) as my HJC RPHA ST has turned into a forehead torture device for some reason. Plus it’s 7 years old so I’m due a new one..

Shame that Aprilia won’t be there as I’d love a Tuono 660 factory…

Yeah I'll be going. When weather is naff it's nice to get involved with the bikes a bit still

Same here.
Go every year, pretty much. Just to say hi to ex-colleagues on the BMW stand mostly and then have a good nose around some new bikes.
Buy some cheap ACF50 then head home. The whole show can be easily done in 4 - 5 hours I would say and I don’t know about anyone else but I find it gets smaller and smaller every year.

Does anyone remember the days of George White taking up an entire hall with just bike clothing?! eek

Will Yamaha be there this year, and with bikes this time, rather than a few bits of clothing and accessorises nobody is interested in? confused

I have bought a ticket this year having moved closer to the NEC (but not too close). I will be driving but is it worth taking my helmet and gloves if there are test rides on offer?

Can do but they provide all the gear main thing is to remember your licence

The test rides are very limited - I fancy trying an elec bike if there are any

A quick google found this, looks like there is one elec bike and then what looks like a very dull indoor "electric test ride zone"

They're on the test ride bike list. Quite fancy a go on the latest XSR900.

I would always go each year plus the London Excel Show in February. However, I haven’t been since 2018, so I’m definitely going this year.

Not sure whether I’ll be doing a test ride as it will probably be too cold for melaugh Furthermore I’m not sure whether the test bikes are on fully comprehensive or 3rd party only.

I'm going on the 25th. Always enjoy it although it is very samey but as said above it's nice to get involved in something bike related when my bikes tucked away in the garage.

Test rides a must this time, always go for something I wouldn't buy which is kind of the point for me.

I went before COVID and it was fully comp but £500 excess. Quite good fun to bulk out the day, I got through the rest of the show fairly quickly

Definitely worth it if you've never been.

A £500 excess is fine. I’m not sure if Kawasaki are providing any test bikes. For me however it’s very weather dependent and I would only ride in my own 1 Piece Leathers, Armour and Arai Helmet.

No show from Piaggio Group either, so therefore no Moto Guzzi or Aprilia.

They didn’t go last year. The excuse last time was not enough time after ICMA to get the export sorted to the UK as it was all still a bit chaotic, if the manufacturer isn’t there the bikes aren’t allowed to be displayed. Krazy Horse had rather a bare stand because of it.
Certain manufacturers have got a slapped wrist before trying to circumvent this as it is a manufacturer show.

It's laughable, given how thin the Aprilia dealer network is in the UK and the lack of presence at the UK shows how they ever expect to increase sales.

I'll be going, but it's nothing like it was years ago unfortunately, it's 2-3 hours at best these days then I'll probably go the JHP and Caffeine and Machine.

I heard by a YouTubist that there will be an electric bike trial area this year as well. It's tempting me to go. Although Liverpool to Birmingham on a 125 doesn't appeal. Might take the car or train..

There'll be no trains on the 26th at the very least. If RMT talks break down other days could be off the cards too.
