I am not that familiar with pre 1980 911s. Would this be worth restoring?

That’s been there years, before it was a 50s Cadillac in a similar state, not sure what the purpose is as the garage actually does really decent work if you go inside - was full of merc pagodas and a couple of porsche 356’s last time I visited.

They do have some nice classic cars for sale that look perfect, former restoration projects, which is why I asked. Their business seems to be proudly buying and displaying wrecks, restoring and selling them.

But I just wonder what standards you can achieve while turning a profit. Low labour rates for sure but this 911 is a battered shell.

So seeking the view of anyone who knows the restoration business here.

Most of the showroom stock has been there longer than that 911. Overpriced and, for the cars I am familiar with, not nearly special or original enough to warrant the asking. The few I know have sold have been more to do with the market catching up to the asking.

The workshop is different gravy, mainly customer cars and some very nice ones at that.
