I would like to introduce myself first. I've been driving TVR for 10 years with a T350 and Chimaera. I live near Hamburg.
Now my question, I'm looking for the previous owners or someone who can give me information .
The car has a tuning chip in the ECU and the mozor has also been revised. The interior is gray
and red in genuine leather. the displays in the dashboard have red dials. The cerbera has been in Germany since 2019
Thank you in advance for your information

greeting
Udo

Udo, is it worth enquiring at the German TVR Club/Black Forest Riders?

Can't believe that whoever imported it into Germany in 2019 hasn't been out with other TVR owners...and had it serviced at a German garage.
Maybe the owner (Email:info@acs-pro.de Phone: +49 (0)6081 58 21 98 0) of the TVR spares unit near Frankfurt might have some information?? Worth a call at least?

as Udo is already driving TVR´s for 10 year i´m sure he knows the club as well as ACS

the UK advert from 2017 rings already some warning bells

YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE!
Chassis Inspected And In Excellent Condition

if all is so good..were are the Chassis-pictures showing a "like-new" chassis?

a lot of money has been invested on the typical "external" parts like enigne, interior etc....but the "heart" of the car, the base = chassis has been untouched since 2004....and a TVR chassis in UK environment hardly survives 13years in good condition.

and for the price, even in 2017, you could expect a clean, tidy, spot-on chassis without any waxoyl or anythng sprayed on it.

now a few years have passed since the car has been imported to Germany....and the question is: what has the german owner done with it?

Thank you for the answers.
Eckhard Polmann is my house dealer. But he doesn't know anything either. The car has only driven 470 mil here in Germany and is not known. You're right, the frame has a few spots, but they aren't that bad. It would be interesting to see what was done with the engine. The control unit also got a different chip.

It's former reg was T400CER. I did the ecu chip (unless it's been changed) .. there was an issue with the throttle bodies and to get around the issue I did a bit of work and re-wrote some of the light throttle mapping to try and smooth things out. I also set the cam timing for the the garage when the engine was rebuilt, but didn't do any of the actual rebuild work. As far as I know the engine was standard, but may have changed since. I did my work back in september 2013 so obviously a lot might have changed since then.
The owner who bought it next did a few thousand miles touring europe and the car was fine.
If you google T400CER you will find a couple of PH threads about it and an advert when it was sold previously.

Great,
i need the info. At the moment I have the problem that you can't set a reasonable idle speed.
After adjusting the valve clearance, the Cerbera is barely drivable at low revs.
Thank you again for the info

Hi Udo, I owned this Cerbera from 2015 to 2017 but the engine rebuild was carried out prior to me buying it. She ran great when I had her & I did do a 2000 mile tour around Europe in 2017 before selling her.
I've replied to your email.

"After adjusting the valve clearance"

If the throttle bodies were disturbed then there's a good chance there are may be air leaks
