Before I begin the process, is there anything I ought to know?

The law is sound, CRA 2015. I know the parts we are using. Annoyingly it's only £3k.
Am I ok to include monies for 'loss of utility' or is that just a waste of time?

I'm just keen to know any pitfalls or nuggets of wisdom.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you ought to know how to phrase a question with enough information whereby you might get some helpful answers.

Unfortunately your post at the moment is completely meaningless (or it is to me anyway).

It is quite clear that the OP has a strong case for a full refund and significant compo.

I think he should also press for use of the dealers swivel chair at weekends and for the use of the dealers daughter to be phased in over the next 5 years.....

Right, my take on it, the OP wants to sue a drug dealer because he lost his A Class utility (pickup truck) to an 8 year old girl, but not until 5 years have passed? Or was it he sold the A class for 3 grand to an 8 year-old?

On the assumption that you're not suing your drug dealer....

And assuming you have a valid claim and can provide supporting evidence, don't claim for loss of utility, raise a money claim online, keep it short and factual and provide the supporting evidence. You'll then be asked to attend mediation, if the dealer contests the claim. Go through the mediation process as this tells the judge that you've tried to resolve it without going to court, then sit back and wait on a court date. Don't get a solicitor involved as that is just an unnecessary expense.

More details would be great though, there's a wealth of knowledge on PH.
